It is a web-based application allowing you to deploy letters and forms for use by the entire organization. Generate professional looking documents consistently, using pre-defined templates. Since it is a database driven, you can generate a letter again and again with different data. From sales direct mailers to standard HR recruitment letters, Forms Engine™ gives you the power to generate and track documents professionally and with ease.

Forms engine allows you to create your own layouts for financial form documents such as invoices, statements, and cheques. Specify the position of data items on a page, the font and font size to be used, the size and shapes of the boxes around the data, and the number of lines to print, in case of an invoice or similar document

Key Components
   Merge Fields Library :
The Merge Fields Library holds a map of Merge fields in documents, with a corresponding field in the database. It allows merging fields from different applications; grouping of fields for the ease of management; managing checkboxes and radio button values; advanced search feature, displaying results in grid for the ease of viewing.
   Query Builder :
The Query Builder allows criteria definition based on which relevant data will be retrieved from the database for generating the document. Its main features include query manipulation facility, such as adding or editing a criteria feature, allowing you to customize standard queries and dynamic parameter definition of required/optional fields provides flexibility in manipulating database to produce results as required.
   Template Manager :
The Template Manager allows definition of templates and their management. Templates can be uploaded either in PDF or DOC format, can be categorized intuitively and can be managed for new additions or modifications. The template search feature is extensive and template history is maintained assigning ownership of template management. Also there is a provision of child templates generation which seamlessly creates the child document every time a parent document is requested.
   Document Generator :
The Document Generator is a web-based user interface that creates documents based on pre-defined parameters. Parameter list is generated via XML for flexible use. Document history is maintained and child documents are automatically generated when the parent document request is made
   User Management :
Through role definition, Forms Engine™ offers security by limiting access and authorities. Different roles are defined as follows:
Super Administrator: Can manage all applications in one instance of Forms Engine™
Administrator: Has rights to all functionalities (Configuration Settings, User Management, Letter Management, Letter Generation, and Merge Field Management) of one application only and its users.
Letter Manager: Has management rights to templates of one application (Letter Generation, Letter Management, and Merge Field Management).
Letter Generator: Can only generate documents for previously uploaded templates.
View: Has only view rights to Letter Generation.
Forms Engine™ At Work 1-2-3
This feature defines document template with required Merge Fields. It builds query for criteria to retrieve relevant data for Merge Fields from database and finally uses document template and run query to generate a letter
